The sanctions are working. This is what I see with my own eyes. However, some of the sanctions imposed by the West were not aimed at destroying the Russian economy, but at minimizing reputational risks for Western governments/businesses. Their effect is still unclear, but one thing can be said - they are useless to stop the war.
