The party We Continue the Change in Bulgaria can be compared to the nationalists in Moscow, primarily because they are also anti-establishment and anti-corruption. However, there is a significant difference: the nationalists on the streets of Moscow are much more marginalized. “The National Liberation Movement” (NLM, НОД) is not a political party, is not registered anywhere and has no legal relations with the state. Its members seek not a parliamentary debate (parliament, in their view, is an establishment institution), but a referendum. They advocate the restoration of the 1945 borders, the return of the state ideology and a number of other radical changes.
