Thank you Christala. As my family lives in Ukraine I have strong, long-standing personal and spiritual ties to this country. I have been studying Ukrainian and Russian history for more than 20 years focusing mostly on the period of WWI, Russian Revolution and Civil War (1917-1922). Who would have thought that 100 years later we would see direct historical analogies of those dramatic events. Of course I am closely following the events that are taking place in Ukraine. In the following articles I will try to offer my “insider's view” of what is happening in Ukraine and Russia today.
