Many people are tired of uncertainty and that’s why the polarization is already here. One, very significant group is indifferent to victory/defeat narratives and wants "everything to be over soon and life to go on as before". The other smaller group wants escalation. Although, in Russia polarization can be described in economic terms: the income gap between those who earn from the war and those who suffer from it is constantly widening. The escalation group controls the media and public finances, so far it has successfully managed to buy the loyalty of the majority of the population. To what extent this success will last in 2025 is only a matter of time.
