For me, the main problem remains the fact (which you confirmed in the end of your long comment) that general public is informed not by the government but by Rowan Atkinson, comedian and writer. Until this problem is solved, there will be no consensus in society about the future of EV. On the contrary, there will be ample opportunity for conspiracy, disinformation, and new unproven theories spread by “influencers”.
